Jewell Consulting Group is a management consulting firm specializing in organizational effectiveness and productivity improvement. We provide guidance and assistance to teams and leaders who want to identify and resolve the gap between what they intend to do and what they're actually doing.
As strategic advisors to corporations, government agencies and non-profits across the globe since 1995, we've had the honor of serving clients in numerous sectors, including manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, higher education, financial services, international NGOs, associations and national security.
We offer three catalysts to improve performance:
Strategy Alignment
Reinforcing the connection between vision, mission, strategy and day-to-day behavior.
Gaps arise in every organization, usually occurring gradually over time, so they often go unnoticed. Eventually they become apparent....when the standard solutions (more people, more hours, more technology) no longer solve the problem, targets are missed and objectives are "adjusted". Few organizations can afford to drift for very long. We'll help you create and implement the corrective action required to stay on course while anticipating the changing needs of the future.
Leadership Development
Cultivating better leaders, who will develop better leaders.
Leaders facing a major performance obstacle, who have reached an impasse, perhaps just want to enlist the perspective of an objective outsider, use Executive Coaching to re-ignite their problem-solving momentum. In addition, our Seminars provide individual and team learning focused on "difference-maker" skills that propel performance improvement, in areas such as emotional intelligence, constructive conflict, systemic thinking, critical thinking and setting clear priorities.
Storytelling
Using stories, rather than directives, to move people, stimulate innovation and overcome obstacles.
Stories are data with a soul. They are more effective in building mission commitment, communicating key initiatives and addressing major challenges. People don't need more facts, because in the end, facts don't move people to action. The best stories grab a team member and give them a reason to persevere, as they insert relevant facts and replay the story over and over as they find ways to succeed. Memos and mandates cannot achieve this degree of buy-in.
The recurring theme in our work is that, much like the conductor of a symphony, we bring talented people and ideas together, highlight the common ground, insert our interpretations and global experience, and help you orchestrate better outcomes.
